JOB SUMMARY

This position involves providing comprehensive administrative support to faculty members, students, and other staff members within the nursing school. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, computer and multitasking skills

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.Proven experience as an administrative assistant preferably in a post secondary schoolProficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Student Support

Maintain student records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of student information.

Faculty Support

Provide administrative support to nursing faculty, managing correspondence, verifying and   uploading student documents and managing calendarsAssist in organizing faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions.Prepare and distribute course materials as needed.

Administrative Duties

Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventories.Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and phone calls.Prepare and maintain reports, documents, and presentations Assist in budget monitoring and expense tracking.

Data Management

Maintain and update databases related to student information, faculty records, and course materials.Compliance and Record-KeepingEnsure compliance with school policies and procedures.Assist with maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and other academic-related information.
