PITC is currently enrolling Pennsylvania residents only. If you are interested in the Practical Nurse AST program, send an information request and Admissions can explain the next available cohort and formal application process. This website form requests information; it does not submit an application or reserve a seat.

Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, complete an admissions interview, meet program requirements, and take PITC’s Practical Nursing Entrance Examination. The examination covers reading comprehension, anatomy and physiology, critical thinking, and medical mathematics. Applicants who attended a community college or other undergraduate school must provide an official transcript.

Admissions will explain the formal application, entrance examination, meeting with a Financial Aid Advisor, and Enrollment Agreement. The combined application/registration fee is $150, subject to the published cancellation and refund provisions.

Before clinical placement, students must meet health, screening, certification, and clearance requirements. Clinical sites may have additional requirements, and students are responsible for associated costs.
